At the Magnet School for Debate and Youth Leadership, students use debate  skills to promote leadership through academics, arts, athletics, and activism.  Leadership and debate are merged into an interdisciplinary curriculum and themed instruction that enables all students to develop critical and analytic skills.  Through the process of debate students research, formulate opinions, debate topics, and defend ideas. This skill set will support students in all their academics and future endeavors.
